and the Winner is......
Albeit a bit blurry, it's the lucky Beth who gets all the goodies! Stanley found great amusement with this game as he loves folding and unfolding things. When we read the name out he was even more pleased because his old nursery teacher is called Beth and that was good enough for him, so much so, that he folded it up and took it to school. So Beth, you are now in Stanley's pocket. Must try this game again with other words/colour/shapes/numbers etc. as it would be great for reading practice and word association games.
Thank you all, for joining in and I'm sorry I can't give you all a prize as they were such lovely comments.
Anyway, back to Beth, otherwise known as The Linen Cat, maker of fine things:
CONGRATULATIONS!

Birthday Giveaway!
I can't quite believe it, where did all that time go? He was so happy this morning as I packed him off to school with his new notepad (Current Paperchase home page = favourtie pattern, caused tantrum in shop when I wouldn't buy it for him, then had to return to London Central yesterday to get it!)
So the number 4T shirt is out the window and here comes number 5! A bit more transportable this time as I made it into a badge.
- Visit my Etsy shop and tell me which of the four designs is your favourite
- Heart another item in my shop whilst you're there
- Visit my lighting shop and tell me which lampshade you like best
- Tell me any of the above via this blog, my Facebook Page, or Twitter (you don't need to do all 3!)
- Go give someone a hug and thank your lucky stars you've got them.
Happy Thursday x

Hurray for Kids!
First of all, on the hunt for anything boy related, I came across this great blog by Elsie Marley. It's just a mass of great inspiration and I particulary liked this round up of boys stuff, which includes many of my favourites.

Anyway, I'm attempting to join in with her 'kids clothes week challenge' which is basically to do an hour a day of sewing for your kids. So I began with printing off a pattern I bought ages ago from Etsy seller Dans La Lune for these great Bermuda Shorts.
I then spent well over an hour working out what I wanted to make them with and ended up going through our wardrobe of forgotten clothes including finding a bag of old maternity stuff.....plenty of excess fabric there! Lots of ideas later, I have a pile of things to make. I also bought this lovely fabric from Showpony, which I'm determined to do something with for Stanley, so that's in the pile too.
Today I started printing some Tees for boys, mainly with my boy in mind, but I printed a couple more for the shop....not sure if that counts, as no sewing was involved, but at least it's going in the right direction. So until I get my camera out and actually start sewing I've got nothing to show for it!
As for Moozles...thanks to Kate from Moozlehome and therikrakstudio, my Shapes and Things fabric is getting a nice feature here in all its MOOZLE glory..... it's a giveaway too!
This is all very timely as I'm off to Amsterdam this weekend with the boys to visit our Kate and the gang. Can't wait to catch up.
So if you want to own your very own HR MOOZLE in green, pop over to yet another lovely blog and find out how. You can also check out the Moozlehome playlist for some stomping tracks!
Plus a giveaway a day at The Rik Rak Studio's Kids Week!

Last Giveaway Before Christmas!

I haven't been feeling too well the last couple of weeks so I'm rather behind on everything!
The Papernstitch Exhibition is still up and it has brought me some great sales and contacts. One very energetic, super fashion, house and home lady who got in touch with me is Rachelle from Kenziepoo. Here's the giveaway which ends this Friday, with lots of nice goodies up for grabs. I've even entered the latest one myself from BirdinFlightBoutique!
I particularly like her Turn This Outfit into a Room posts. Fellow Papernstitch exhibitor Mee a Bee has also had a great mention and makes supercute bags for littleones.
All in all a very jolly site, unlike how I'm feeling right now!

Giveaway ready to go to New York!
I've sent you a convo on Etsy having found you via your blog.
Congratulations! Goodies coming your way.
Thank you so much everyone for commenting. You got me up to second place over at Papernstitch, which was a real suprise. So I've won a free month on Brittni's lovely exhibition space, amongst so many fab shops I daren't look!
This now means that one lucky commenter over at Papernstitch will also receive an item of mine, this time chosen by Brittni, so watch out for it! x

Giveaway ends 26th October
Just a quickie to say that my Papernstitch showcase ends on the 26th October and so will my giveaway. With just 3 entries so far, I have to admit I'm a bit dissapointed, but not put off as I have had some great comments and made lots of sales!
Brittni the super, friendly lady behind Papernstitch has blogged me up on her daily favourites today, which is all very exciting!
To enter the giveaway, just sign up to Papernstitch (takes just a few clicks) , leave a comment under one of the items you like in the exhibition, then leave a comment here on my giveaway post and that's it.
What you will get......A little goodie bag, a hand printed tea towel, a bundle of printed squares, lavender key ring and maybe more, depends how much I can cram in the bag!
One more thing, I'll be switching back to my regular shipping fees tonight, so be quick to look in my Etsy Shop if you want a good deal.
Re Picture: The big flower cushion never made it to my shop, instead it ended up in France, lounging on a red leather sofa. Wish I was there now!

October marks our one year anniversary for the papernstitch exhibition site! It is hard to believe its already been a year for the site, and well over a year for the blog. To celebrate we'll be running a contest from now through October 25th on the pns site.
Some of you may know that each individual product in a pns shop can be commented on by anyone who is logged in to their account. The exhibitor who receives the most votes in their shop will win a prize and you can win too! Win your favorite product on papernstitch!
How do you enter?
Simple. Visit the papernstitch site, browse your favorite shops and comment on any product that you would like to win. Why do you love that item or that shop? Tell us in the comments section. Just don't forget you have to be logged in to comment. You may enter an unlimited number of times, but can only comment on each product one time. Each comment is an entry.
I will select three winners total from the comments pool for the entire site and those three commenters will win the product they commented on! Pretty cool, huh? Visit the site now to enter the contest. Don't have a free account yet? Get one here (it takes 5 seconds, literally).
