Well my launch on Etsy has been slowed down by my mad panic for a little fair I'm attending on the May Bank holiday. It's a collaboration with Of Cabbages and Kings and WeMakeLondon, so it should be a great show and a chance for me to test all my new products!
I feel like I'm wading through quick sand at the moment though......trying to do all the things I want to do in a third of the time that I think I have.

I've just edited my profile picture on Facebook as I thought the mad one of me rolling about in the snow wasn't very business like.
I've now got a business page at: Helen Rawlinson Design Drop by and become a fan, I'm finding lots of great pages and blogs on arty stuff for kids.

Flag Day
We took Stanley to our local square on Saturday to join in with the flag making session his nursery had organised. We were attempting to make flags of the world out of seeds and pulses from the local market. We only managed some little ones, but the bigger ones looked fab.
Think the middle one was based on Macedonia, the other two went a bit off the map!

Shop Online At Last!
Well it's been a while since I last updated this blog as I've been busy photographing all my stock of lampshades. I've finally got my shop up and running. My lovely other half has updated my website at long last and if I can get myself sorted I should be ready to launch my Etsy Shop too!
I've kind of done everything back to front.....printing fabric, making samples etc. and getting very excited about all the new stuff I want to do before sorting out my lighting range which has been my mainstay for the last ever so many years. I can't believe I haven't sorted this out a long time ago. Having a baby and 'The French Project', might have something to do with it so I'm not going to be too hard on myself. Three years down the line there is light at the end of the tunnel!
So here are a few pics from the shop
